A successful and well-to-do building contractor came up to me at The Western Wall in Jerusalem, and instructed me that he was now completely ready to go home. His words and phrases had been fairly a shock to my system simply because it was only our initial day in Jerusalem.

Ready patiently for him to elaborate he started to pour out what he experienced been encountering in excess of these previous 8 or nine hours. He just could not think what he had observed in one working day.

This enterprise guy from the north of Scotland did not believe we could protect in a single day what we had managed to do.

It is only a forty minute wander through the slim streets of Jerusalem from the Dung Gate to the Damascus Gate and throughout the road to our lodge.

It was at that stage that my enterprise gentleman defined that he was completely ready to go home. He was not fed up or bored.

He just could not imagine that he was seeing what he imagined he would never ever see and touching items he thought he would in no way contact! It was shifting to hear his account but when I said that every working day would be much better and much better he refused to think me.

Three or 4 days of adventure afterwards, he quietly arrived up to me and explained that I had been proper. I would so really like to just take you on a very specific tour of Jerusalem and Israel.

Talk about experience! It would be challenging to enhance on twelve times there!
